In that same year, Alicia also completed a Sound Healing Certification using Tibetan singing bowls under the guidance of Kirk Jones of Evolvlove Sound Therapy. Her continuing studies have led her through multiple Lomi Lomi Massage trainings, where she was immersed in Hawaiian culture and spirituality under the instruction of Kahuna Harry Uhane Jim, Patti Miller of Hawaiian Healing Arts, and Benj Spound of Vermont Holistic Bodyworks. Most recently, Alicia completed 600 hours of study in the Ayurvedic Health Counselor program at The Mahatma School of Ayurveda, expanding her integrative approach to health and wellness. Through Earthbound Wellness, Alicia creates a nurturing space for grounded transformation—a place where clients are invited to slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover their innate harmony and vitality. Her work reflects a deep reverence for the body’s wisdom and the healing power of the elements, guiding each individual toward balance, presence, and wholeness.

~Sound Healing~
Lomi Lomi is the traditional ancient bodywork of Hawaii, a practice passed down through generations from Kahunas and island healers. This holistic healing method incorporates meditation and the HA breath to cleanse the practitioner's mind of preconceived notions, enabling them to be fully attuned to the recipient's needs in the present moment. Practitioners focus on eliminating physical and energetic blockages that may be causing pain and other symptoms. Temple Style Lomi places a strong emphasis on harnessing abundant mana (energy) through breathwork and the rhythmic Kale'leau dance step. This energy is then channeled to the recipient to remove any blockages, obstructions, or stored traumas in the body, which can manifest as physical discomfort, tension, inflexibility, or even disease. The practice resembles a dance, following the body's natural rhythm with flowing forearm and elbow strokes. Another distinctive feature of Temple Style Lomi is the incorporation of assisted stretches, hip twists, backbends, and the specialized technique known as Deep Joint Rotations. These rotations involve maximizing the movement of the shoulders, hips, knees, elbows, wrists, and ankles. This not only clears any accumulated impurities within the joints (which Hawaiians believe may store traumas) but also enhances joint flexibility and range of motion.
The ancient Japanese technique is used to bring balance and restore the energy centers within the body. This practice is performed while the client is fully clothed lying on a treatment table. The practitioner works through various hand placements on or just above the body to allow the positive energy to flow freely throughout the body. Reiki promotes overall wellness to the body, mind and spirit.
The use of Tibetan singing bowls for the therapeutic application of audible sound and vibration. The hand-hammered bronze bowls were found to be highly resonate approximately four thousand years ago. Often used for meditation, the healing properties of the bowls when directed by a practitioner, can have a direct effect on the client’s distress, pain, trigger myoclonal release (muscle spasms, twitching), harmonize the client’s energetic system, induce deep meditative and altered states of consciousness, emotional release, improve mental clarity and processing, and allow integration for mental, emotional, and physical peace.
